ELIZABETHTON, TN (WJHL) - A Carter County woman and her three grandchildren are picking up the pieces after they lost everything in a fire. It happened early Friday morning at a home off Jackson Avenue in Elizabethton.

Tuesday, Nancy Guinn met with the county's property assessor, who is trying to help the Guinn family get back on their feet.

Inside the home with Nancy was 14-year-old Tyler, 13-year-old Caitlin and 10-year-old Jesse, who are now staying with other family members.

"The kids, they're the ones I am most worried about. I don't know what I am going to do now, because I am a widow, disabled on disability and I really don't know how I am going to get another place to live or anything," Nancy told News Channel 11.
