Kids to get in on Bridge Run fun with Wonderfest, Kids Run

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Hampton Park in downtown Charleston will provide a place for the little ones to get in on the Cooper River Bridge Run fun the day before the big race.

The park will be the site of a special Kids Run and Wonderfest on Friday, April 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration for the Kids Run is open online until April 1, or you can register at the event from noon to 4:30 p.m.

Wonderfest will feature face painting, a jump castle and slide, petting zoo and pony rides, children entertainers and music acts, food vendors, and much more. Wonder Works will also be hand to offer a play zone, complete with popular toys, games, gadgets, and a free toy for every child in attendance.

For those participating in the Kids Run, the T-Bonz Warm Up will get things started at 4 p.m., and the race will begin at 5 p.m.
