Posted: Updated:
Jonathan Byrd, Tommy Gainey, Lucas Glover and Kyle Stanley have all committed to compete at the 46th annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links.  South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event is taking place April 14-20, 2014 on Hilton Head Island.

They are joined by defending champion Graeme McDowell as well as other notables Stewart Cink, Luke Donald, Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, Davis Love III, Vijay Singh, Brandt Snedeker and Boo Weekley.

Byrd was born in Anderson, South Carolina and played golf at Clemson University.  He now lives on St. Simons Island, Georgia with his wife and 3 children.  He has 5 victories on the PGA TOUR and missed much of the 2013 season after having left-wrist surgery.  He has only missed competing at Harbour Town once since joining the PGA TOUR in 2002.

Gainey was born in Darlington, South Carolina and now lives in Camden with his wife and son.  He earned his first win on the PGA TOUR at the 2012 McGladrey Classic.  He goes by the nickname “Two Gloves” for wearing two golf gloves when he plays.  He was a participant on Golf Channel’s “Big Break V” and later won “Big Break VII”.  He will be competing at Harbour Town for the sixth time.

Glover was born in Greenville, South Carolina and played golf at Clemson University.  He now lives on St. Simons Island, Georgia with his wife and daughter.  He has earned three wins on the PGA TOUR, including the 2009 US Open Championship.  He has not missed an RBC Heritage since 2003.

Stanley was born in Gig Harbor, Washington but moved to Bluffton, South Carolina while he attended Clemson University.  His first win on the PGA TOUR was at the 2012 Waste Management Phoenix Open.  As an amateur he won the 2005 Junior Heritage held each February at the Harbour Town Golf Links.  He will be competing for the fourth time at the RBC Heritage.
