(RNN) - All dreams of a perfect, billion-dollar NCAA bracket are gone, but the most volatile championship tournament in recent memory is just getting started.

After a first round typified by overtimes and upsets, not one of the 100 million or so suckers who gave Yahoo! their cell phone numbers for an infinitessimal shot at winning Warren Buffet's money is still in the hunt.

Harvard set the bracket-busting tone on Thursday by dropping Cincinnati in the opening round. The Crimson carries  the torch of brainy ballers everywhere Saturday when they take on Michigan State at 8:30 p.m. ET in Spokane. The Spartans, who are healthy for the first time since early in the season, crushed Delaware. You can catch the game on TNT.

North Dakota State, another 12-seed, sent Oklahoma packing in overtime and will have a chance to become this year's darling if it can get by San Diego State at 6 p.m. ET, also on TNT.

Dayton, which stunned state rival Ohio State, will see if it has any magic left against No. 3 seed Syracuse at 7 p.m. ET on TBS.

Florida, the nation's top-ranked team that hasn't lost since Dec. 2, struggled against Albany. The Gators looked vulnerable in the Southeastern Conference Tournament, taking a five-point win over Tennessee and beating Kentucky by one. They now have to face ninth-seeded Pittsburgh at noon on CBS. The Panthers, who fell to Virginia in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament and destroyed Colorado in their first-round clash, could give the Gators trouble.

Villanova plays UConn and Michigan plays Texas in pairings that came as no surprise, though the Longhorns needed a buzzer beater to get past stubborn Arizona State in the first round.

Louisville, a four seed that ended the season as one of the hottest teams in the country, will tackle St. Louis, which overcame a 16-point, second-half deficit to beat NC State.

Second-seeded Wisconsin faces Oregon in the 7:30 ET prime-time game on CBS. The Badgers mangled American University in the first round and the Ducks had little trouble with BYU in their game.

The Saturday winners advance to the Sweet 16. The four Regional tournaments get underway March 27.
