Police: Bikes must be removed from King Street corral for bridge run

Posted: Updated:
CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the Charleston Police Department say bicycles left on the bike corrals on King Street have to be removed by 2 a.m. on Saturday, April 5 for the Cooper River Bridge Run.

Police say any bikes left on the corrals after 2 a.m. will be removed and stored at the Charleston Police Department.

According to police, a $45 retrieval fee will apply to any bikes that have to be removed by officers.

CPD officials say the bike corral on King and Cannon does not apply since it is not in the path of the bridge run.
