Police seek suspect in credit card theft

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police are requesting the public's help to identify a man they say used a stolen credit card at two gas stations.

Police say the card was reported stolen from an apartment on King Street on March 17.

According to a police report, the card was in a wallet stolen along with a MacBook Pro laptop computer and an iPhone. The family who lived at the apartment told police that they were home asleep during the time of the burglary.

Anyone with information about the man in the surveillance photos can call consolidated dispatch at (843) 743-7200 and ask for the on duty central detective.
