Comcast outages resolved, company says

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Comcast crews resolved two outages that affected some Lowcountry customers, a spokesman for the company said in a statement Wednesday.

There were two separate incidents in which fiber cable was cut that caused the outages, according to the statement. The Charleston outage was caused when a train clipped an aerial fiber line, Comcast says, while a second outage affecting service in Hampton and Walterboro was caused by a fiber being cut by a logging truck.
