(RNN) - Just like a movie script, things have happened only the way someone could draw them up - No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchups on each side of the bracket to determine which movies go to the championship.

The top overall seed Rocky had its closest call to date when it squeaked by The Sandlot in the round of eight. The battle of baseball comedies was also an epic clash, with Field of Dreams narrowly beating out Major League.

Worthy opponents Caddyshack and Hoosiers await.

No. 1 Rocky vs. No. 2 Caddyshack

Rocky, 1976

Stars: Sylvester Stallone, Carl Weathers, Talia Shire

Synopsis: The first sports film to win an Academy Award for Best Picture features affable underdog Rocky Balboa (Stallone), who gets an unlikely title bout against heavyweight champ Apollo Creed. Stallone wrote the original screenplay in three days, though it went through extensive rewrites before it was shot in 28 days on a budget of $1.1 million.

Caddyshack, 1980

Stars: Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, Ted Knight, Bill Murray

Synopsis: A kooky playboy with a Zen outlook (Chase), a crotchety judge (Knight), a "new money" loudmouth (Dangerfield) and an assistant groundskeeper with a gopher vendetta (Murray) are among the oddballs gracing the fairways of Bushwood Country Club. Through all the hilarity, caddy Danny Noonan (Michael O'Keefe) tries to figure out how he will make his way to college.

No. 1 Hoosiers vs. No. 2 Field of Dreams

Hoosiers, 1986

Stars: Gene Hackman, Dennis Hopper, Barbara Hershey

Synopsis: Buddy gets the rock to Jimmy Chitwood at the top of the key and he buries it. "Hickory wins! Hickory wins!" Everybody hugs and cries. The eyes of Coach Dale (Hackman) and Myra Fleener (Hershey) meet in the midst of great celebration. The tiny school with six players, a tainted head coach and a drunk assistant (Hopper) make it all the way to the state finals and win by playing their best and letting the rest take care of itself.

Field of Dreams, 1989

Stars: Kevin Costner, Ray Liotta, James Earl Jones

Synopsis: After hearing voices ("If you build it, they will come"), Iowa corn farmer Ray Kinsella (Costner) turns the voices to a vision and then makes it a reality by building a baseball diamond. When he does, the infamous 1919 Chicago White Sox show up - as does as his late father.
