Thousands will flock to Summerville for the three-day Flowertown Festival, Friday through Sunday. From 9-6pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday, the town hosts one of the largest arts and crafts festival in the southeast. Jury selected artists will have their work on display during the festival. On Saturday only, kids are invited to show of their creativity during Kids Fest. The Festival also includes food and activities for kids. Admission and parking for the event are both FREE. LIVING HISTORY DAYS AT MIDDLETON PLACE
Revolutionary war-era re-enactors will help commemorating the 232nd anniversary of General Nathanael Greene's encampment of the Southern Army at Middleton Place. The camp will be open 9-5 p.m. Saturday, and 9-4 p.m. Sunday. Activities for Living History Days are free with your paid admission. LOWCOUNTRY CAJUN FESTIVAL
Get your taste of jambalaya, and crawfish while dancing to Zydeco music at the Lowcountry Cajun Festival. It's Sunday at James Island County Park from 12-6 p.m. Four bands fill the musical lineup and if you're not a fan of Cajun or Creole food, you could try some barbecue too. If you are a crawfish connoisseur, you may want to compete in the crawfish-eating contest. Admission is $10 per person and FREE to kids 12 and under. Find out more on the Event Website.
