MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - US Marshals arrested a Mount Pleasant man Friday with three outstanding warrants from a January robbery and shooting.
Court documents show that Marquise Kayron Kinloch, 21, is charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and kidnapping. North Charleston Police say Kinloch directed a woman to lure the victim to a dead-end road with the intent to rob him.
The victim told North Charleston Police he and the woman had met on numerous occasions in the past to have sexual encounters, but that on this occasion, she asked him to meet her at a location with which he was not familiar.
Once there, court documents state, Kinloch and a second man, both armed with pistols, opened the vehicle's doors, placed a gun at the victim's head and demanded all of his belongings. The victim's money, shoes and an assault rifle were stolen from the vehicle, police say.
After the victim was released by the two men and was fleeing the scene in his own vehicle, documents state, he was shot in the arm.
Kinloch was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
