CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -
A search of a West Ashley home led Charleston County Deputies to arrest three men on more than a dozen charges.
Deshon Ancrum, 21; Brian Ancrum, 24; and Joshua Grampus, 21, were arrested Thursday after Charleston County Deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Tripe Street, court documents state.
Inside, deputies say they found 99.2 grams of a green plantlike material that tested presumptive as marijuana hidden in a shopping back in the closet of a room where a three-year-old child who lives at the residence was sleeping. Court documents state they also found 41.7 of an off-white rock-like substance and 28.4 grams of a white powdery substance, both of which tested presumptive as cocaine. Deputies also said they found what appeared to be cocaine residue inside of the home's only microwave, which a witness there told them was used to cook the child's meals.
All three men were charged with unlawful conduct towards a child, documents state.
Deshon Ancrum was also charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to court documents.
Brian Ancrum and Grampus were also charged with two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, manufacturing cocaine base and trafficking cocaine base, according to court documents. Grampus also faces an additional charge of trafficking cocaine, documents state.
