Two Lowcountry men indicted in federal court on child pornography charges

COLUMBIA, SC (WCSC) - Two men from the Lowcountry have been indicted in federal court on child pornography charges in two unrelated cases.

U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles announced that 35-year-old Brandon James Allen of North Charleston was charged in a two count indictment charging him with distribution and possession of child pornography.

Authorities also charged 24-year-old Rusty Michael Hall of Cottageville with a three count indictment charging him with felon in possession of a firearm and receipt and possession of child pornography.

The maximum penalty Allen and Hall face is 20 years imprisonment and a maximum fine of $250,000.
