NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities all lanes on Ashley Phosphate are now open after an earlier accident involving a school bus in North Charleston.
Dorchester County deputies say the accident occurred in the area of Ashley Phosphate Road and East Saddlebrook Drive near Patriot Blvd. The accident initially shut down Ashley Phosphate Road inbound to Dorchester Road, but all lanes have since been reopened.
According to Dorchester District 2 spokesperson Pat Raynor, a car hit a Fort Dorchester High School school bus that was transporting six students. No students were injured, but the bus driver had an injury to her arm.
