CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Charleston Police released a surveillance camera image taken during a West Ashley bank robbery.

Police say the man entered the First Palmetto Bank on Sumar St. at approximately 11:30 a.m. armed with a handgun. The still shows a man wearing what appears to be a dark baseball cap and a yellow reflective vest similar to the style commonly worn by road construction workers.

Police say no one was hurt during the robbery, but are asking for the public's help in identifying the man in the image.

Anyone with information on the robber's identity should call Consolidated Dispatch at (843) 743-7200 and ask for the on-call detective, or Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.
