BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office says a man attempting to sell counterfeit purses and clothes was shot by a potential customer at a shopping center in Bluffton.
Just before noon on Wednesday, deputies responded to the Coastal Carolina Hospital for a gunshot victim. When deputies arrived they found a man who was receiving treatment for a gunshot wound to his leg.
The victim said he was robbed and shot by a man in the area of Tanger Outlets on Fording Island Road.
