Lowcountry fugitive surrenders after seeing Live 5 News broadcast

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say a Live 5 Most Wanted fugitive surrendered to investigators after seeing himself on television last Thursday.

According to investigators, Brandon Michael Pendergrass, 36, turned himself over to authorities Monday morning after seeing himself on a Live 5 Most Wanted segment.

Pendergrass was wanted on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of controlled substances.
Investigators say in August and September 2013, Pendergrass sold drugs to an undercover informant.

The alleged drug deal was caught on surveillance cameras, according to authorities.

According to arrest warrants, the fugitive also has been caught red handed with drugs at his home.
