CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston boat enthusiasts have the chance this weekend to find their dream boat and test drive it at the same time.
The Charleston in-water boat show kicked off Friday afternoon with dozens of different types of boats on display at the Bristol Marina.
Organizers say vendors from across the southeast will be present, along with boat manufacturers.
"We've got boats down in the water so we can take people out and demo, take people out and show them. You know, it's just like buying a car. You want to go ride the boat before you buy it. It's an expensive purchase, so it's really, really nice to be able to do that with the customer," Ryan Balderson of Sea Fox Boats said.
Organizers say that the success of their January show prompted them to hold another.
Activities for the entire family are planned and food and beverage vendors will be on hand.
Show hours are from noon until 7 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
