Crews search for Charleston man who went overboard on cruise

MIAMI, FL - Coast Guard crews are searching for a 30-year-old Charleston man who reportedly jumped over the railing of the Bahamas Cruise Ship Celebration.

It happened early Sunday morning, 27-miles east of Delray Beach, Florida.

The Coast Guard was notified about a person in the water at 2 a.m. Sunday.

The Cruise is docked in Port Everglades, Florida.

A Coast Guard cutter and two air crews were launched from the Coast Guard Air Station Miami to assist with the search.

The case is under investigation by the FBI.
