Strong storms drop golf ball sized hail

Strong storms passed through southeastern North Carolina Monday evening dropping large hail across Bladen County and more.

Elizabethtown and White Lake saw some of the worst of the storm. Pictures sent in by viewers show just how severe the storms were.

A tornado warning was issued for about 30 minutes for central Bladen County starting just after 8 p.m.

    The annual Walk for Water raised almost $300,000 for the local non-profit Water Mission.     The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office have announced the arrest of Christopher Shawn Gregory. On March 24, detectives from the BCSO (with assistance from a U.S. Marshals task force) arrested Gregory at a property on Hardwood Lane in Summerville. The charges facing Gregory include five counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a minor in the 1st degree and two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a minor in the 2nd Degree.
