Brunswick sheriff's office searching for missing 15-year-old girl

BRUNSWICK, VA (WWBT) -

The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing runaway who was last seen ten days ago.

Shybera Sydnor, 15, was last seen on April 19 in the 200 block of Thomasburg Lane in Freeman, Va. The sheriff's office said Sydnor has run away several times before but not for this long. Authorities are now seriously concerned for her safety and welfare.

Sydnor has long, black hair with brown highlights. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, pink flowered shirt, black pants and gray sneakers with pink shoelaces.

The missing teen has reportedly been sighted in Greensville County and Emporia. The sheriff's office says she may be heading towards New York.
