2 sought in Beaufort Co. gas station armed robbery

BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Beaufort County deputies are searching for two suspects who robbed a Lady's Island gas station at gunpoint Thursday night.

Authorities say the armed robbery occurred at Tiger Express located on Fairfield Road around 11 p.m.

According to an incident report, an employee was outside on a cigarette break when two men with bandanas over their faces pulled out handguns and forced her back inside the store. The suspects then held two employees at gunpoint and demanded cash.

After reportedly taking money from the register, the suspects fled the scene.

Authorities describe the suspects as black males between 16 and 19 years old, approximately 155 pounds, and between 5'07" and 5'11". They were both wearing all black clothing with black bandanas over their faces. One of the suspects had an afro haircut, while the other was wearing a black skull cap.
