MURRELLS INLET, SC (WCSC) - Georgetown County deputies are asking for the public's help in trying to identify a man they say was involved in an armed robbery late Friday night.

Officials say a black man entered the business at 5190 Highway 17 Bypass  in the Murrells Inlet community around 11:30 p.m. Friday. The suspect pointed a gun at the victim, demanded money and then ran.

Deputies said they thought the man was driving a gold Chevy Impala.  No one was injured during the incident.
