Foods can enhance sex drive, experts say

Certain foods, like oysters and chocolate, have long been suggested as ingredients to enhance sex drive.

The following recipe suggestions utilize other foods with similar qualities.

Surefire XXX Scampi

  • Basil and garlic for blood flow
  • Shrimp for Omega-3 and trace minerals zinc
  • White wine for polyphenols
  • Olive oil for healthy fat
  • Garlic

  • Figs are also on the list for Nitrous Oxide

Sex therapist Nicolette Pace says these foods don't have instant effects: the success of menus like these are based more on a long-term lifestyle change. The bottom line, she says, is cleaning up your diet and getting healthy will make your sex life healthier, too.
