CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Local school districts have finalized plans for snow make-up days following winter weather that caused school closings in January and February.
In Charleston County, make-up days have been decided. Late Monday, the school district announced June 4 will be a full school day and both June 5 and June 6 will be half-days.
Dorchester District Two made their decision on Monday night. The board approved make up days for Monday, June 2 and Tuesday, June 3. Both days will be half days. Its school year was scheduled to end on May 30.
Berkeley County already finalized plans for student make-up days, changing May 29 from a half-day to a full day, adding May 30 as a full day for all students and converting June 2, which was previously scheduled as a teacher work day, into a half day for all students.
