BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office has charged five people and are looking for another after investigators found a meth lab at a home in Ladson.

Investigators charged 31-year-old Christopher Jenkins, 29-year-old David Howell, 24-year-old Ashley Gallimore, 32-year-old Ulghni Ortiz and 37-year-old Angela Stewart with attempt to manufacture methamphetamine.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 21-year-old Marcel Alston of Ladson who is being sought on the same charge.

The charges stem from an investigation on May 22 at a home on Eastern White Pine Road in Ladson.

According to authorities, investigators found several components consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine throughout the home.

A report states all five suspects arrested were present during the search and, through investigation, it was determined that Alston also resided there and had left prior to the investigators' arrival.
