BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Berkeley County investigators have arrested a 30-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a child.
The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office charged David Earl Wesly Rabon with two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child, one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and one count of committing a lewd act upon a child.
Officials with the sheriff's office say on Monday, deputies received a complaint regarding a sexual assault of a minor by Rabon.
On Tuesday, investigators say they made contact with Rabon and determined that probable cause existed to make an arrest.
Rabon is locked up at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center where a bond hearing is set for this evening.
