CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Charleston County deputies say no students were injured Thursday morning following an accident involving a school bus on Savannah Highway.

Authorities say a car and a school bus were involved in a minor accident near the intersection of Highway 17 and Main Road just after 7 a.m.

According to Charleston County School District spokesperson Jason Sakran, the bus was carrying three special needs students, with one from Oakland Elementary and the other two from Ashley River Creative Arts.

Deputies say the two adults and three students involved in the accident were not injured.
