Deputies searching for man accused of exposing himself at beach

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Deputies are looking for a man who reportedly exposed himself at a beach in Georgetown County.

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened around 4 p.m. on Tuesday when deputies responded to Huntington Beach State Park for a report of an adult male exposing himself.

Two girls told a relative that a male exposed himself to them while they were playing near the water. After the relative alerted bystanders, one witness followed the man who fled in a vehicle going northbound on Ocean Highway.

Authorities say the vehicle is registered to Patrick M. Krell of Charleston, SC. Krell is described as a white male, 5'10", 170 pounds with blue yes.

Authorities say the suspect's vehicle is described as a greenish blue GMC van with a Georgia license plate number BXD-1908.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Krell to call the sheriff's office at (843) 546-5101.
