CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Professional wrestling icon Ric Flair showed his softer side during a live interview when questions turned to his daughter's recent wrestling win.
Anchor Kevin Bilodeau asked Flair about his trip to Orlando Thursday night, where Flair watched his daughter, Charlotte, win the NXT title.
"It was huge," Flair said.
When Bilodeau asked what seeing his daughter's victory meant to him, Flair called it the biggest moment in his entire wrestling career.
"In all the 40 years or whatever I've accomplished, she did more last night, than I've ever accomplished in my life," Flair said as he choked back tears.
Flair made an appearance during Live 5 News to promote a wrestling event in North Charleston. Big Time Wrestling will make its debut in the Lowcountry at 7 p.m. Saturday at the North Charleston Convention Center.
In addition to Flair, the Hardy Boyz and the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase are scheduled to appear.
