BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The family of a missing woman last seen in February issued a statement at a news conference Monday.

The parents of 28-year-old Nicole Goodlett, James and Bozena Goodlett, say they reported her as a missing person in March after coming from their Texas home to Berkeley County to look for her. Berkeley deputies say Goodlett and her boyfriend, Jerald Howard, live together in Berkeley County, and said Howard is a person of interest in their investigation.

The statement from Goodlett's parents reads:

"Today, my wife and I have come here to ask you, the members of this community, to help find our beloved daughter, Nicole Goodlett, who we reported missing to the Spartanburg Sheriff's Department on March 12, 2014. We are heartbroken and greatly saddened by her disappearance, and we strongly believe that she was taken by force and still may be held against her will or worse.

Nicole is a mother of three wonderful children, a five-year-old son and a set of beautiful twin girls that are nine months old.

Not a day goes by without her son praying to God to bring his mother back home.

One fact that we all want all of you to know is that Nicole loves her children with all of hear heart, and she took very good care of them.

We are asking this community and anyone who may have just a very small bit of information to contact the Spartanburg or Berkeley County Sheriff's Departments immediately.

We need your communities' help to find our daughter. The last thing Nicole's son asked us to do was to ask the police to tell his mother where he was so she could come pick him up and take him and his little sisters home.

To him, this tragedy makes no sense whatsoever and it makes no sense to any of us.

Lastly, today, our entire family is asking South Carolina to please help us find our daughter, Nicole Goodlett, so we can bring her home.
Thank you all.

Anyone with information should call the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office at (843) 719-4412, the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office at (864) 596-2222, or Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.
