SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -
Fort Dorchester alums and current NFL players Carlos Dunlap, Robert Quinn and Byron Maxwell were back at their old stomping grounds on Saturday afternoon for an annual kids camp helping to teach local kids about football.
Dunlap and Quinn have been putting on the camp for the last 3 years. Maxwell was one of a handful of NFL players to show up and lend their support.
The camp not only teaches kids about skills they'll need on the field, but also things they'll need to succeed off the field.
Dunlap, who was a 2nd round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010 and Quinn, a 1st round pick of the St. Louis Rams in 2011 have become 2 of the premiere pass rushers in the entire NFL. But they are both chasing something Maxwell gained this year as a starter for the Seattle Seahawks, a Super Bowl championship.
