SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Getting tired of spending your lunch break digging through Tupperware leftovers or munching on a boring PB&J?

This week, 5 Around Town is checking out a variety of Summerville restaurants serving up everything from hot dogs and Philly cheesesteaks to traditional Mediterranean fare.

Each of these lunch spots are slinging tasty meals at affordable prices, giving you plenty of time to get back to the office before anyone notices you were gone.

1) Philly's

Location: 4650 Ladson Road

What to expect: As the name implies, this is the place to go for authentic, delicious, and flavorful Philly cheesesteaks. Philly's loads up their fresh baked sub rolls with mounds of steak shipped straight from the cheesesteak homeland, Philadelphia. After piling on onions (you can get them without) and white American cheese, these bad boys are ready to be demolished. Trying to be healthy? Opt for the chicken version instead. Philly's also serves a variety of hoagies, salads and other items, but the Philly cheesesteak reigns supreme.

2) Matt's Burgers

Location: 102 S. Cedar Street

What to Expect:  Craving a mouth-watering burger that can be a little messy but incredibly tasty? Well Matt's Burgers is not messing around. Made with fresh ground chuck and hand-rolled to perfection, these massive flavor patties make the bun look small.  Choose your burger's size (1/4 lb., 1/3 lb., 1/2 lb), pile on the toppings, and enjoy your eventual food coma. Not feeling a burger? Grab a bowl of their homemade chili. For the truly adventurous, ask about the Quad Bomb.

3) The Eclectic Chef

Location: 125 Central Avenue

What to Expect: Time to delve over to the healthy side for a minute. The Eclectic Chef is the place to go for gourmet sandwiches, wraps, and salads. Their mountain of a menu is jam-packed with masterpieces sure to satisfy your culinary imagination. Keep an eye on their menu, as it changes seasonally in order to offer up meals that can be made with fresh ingredients.

4) Perfectly Franks

Location: 118 N. Main Street

What to Expect: The dogs at Perfectly Franks will put your daddy's backyard grilled hot dogs to shame. Dating back to 1910, Perry Cuda is continuing the family tradition of delivering the most delicious franks you will every sink your mouth trap onto. Cuda has turned hot dog making into an art form, inventing flavor-exploding franks like the Frankie B (with grilled bologna, melted cheddar, strawberry jam and bacon mayo) and the Aretha Franklin (pulled pork, bbq sauce, slaw and crispy onions). With over 30 hot dog combos to choose from, there is more than something for everyone. Oh, and those grilled cheese sandwiches. Don't get me started!

If gyros aren't your thing, grab a Greek salad or pasta salad. Everything is priced on the lunch menu to give a you a big bang for your buck.
