A mom and were boyfriend were sentenced Tuesday for brutally abusing her three-year-old son.

On March 4, 2014, the little boy was transported to MetroHealth Hospital to receive treatment for renal failure, spleen and bowel injuries, old and new rib fractures, an open foot wound and human bite marks on the ankle.

The victim was also severely malnourished and dehydrated.
