CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department will be holding a family fun day for the special needs community and their caregivers.
The event will be held on Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. to noon at Brittlebank Park on Lockwood Boulevard.
Officials say fun activities will be available at the park with attendees having the opportunity to interact with officers.
Police say attendees will be given the opportunity to provide first responders with pertinent individualized information to aid in any future emergency response involving loved ones.
