MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - There's a new amenity for the millions of visitors who come to Myrtle Beach each year. The resort town now has new permanent public restrooms downtown.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports the (http://bit.ly/1o4ffRs ) the Downtown Redevelopment Corporation spent about $230,000 to construct the restrooms near the oceanfront.
For the past four years, the only public restrooms were in two trailers in the downtown area.
Now those trailers will be refurbished. And one of them will be moved to a new downtown location.
