Three suspects arrested in connection with a string of crimes in Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a string of crimes across Columbus.

Nicholas Thomas, Terrence Sanders, and Troy Hughes are accused of being involved in armed home invasions, armed robberies of individuals who were present during the home invasions, and other individuals who were victims of armed robbery not associated with the home invasions.

Police say the suspects are also accused of hijacking motor vehicles and various other criminal acts.

The Robbery-Homicide Unit of CPD is still investigating, and other charges are expected to be made on the three suspects in custody.

Troy Hughes, 19, of Columbus, Ga: : Armed Robbery (7cts), Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.
