BAD GASTEIN, AUSTRIA (WCSC) - Shelby Rogers continued what may be the best stretch of her young career on Saturday pulling off another upset in the semifinals of the Gastein Ladies Tournament in Austria beating 2nd seed Sara Errani 7-6 (12), 6-3 to punch her ticket to her 1st WTA Finals.

The Lowcountry native, who hadn't beaten a top 50 ranked player in her life before beating 3 in a row this week, will face off against 2014 Family Circle Cup champion Andrea Petkovic on Sunday.

Rogers saved 4 set points in the 1st set before finally breaking through on the 5th attempt to take the set in over an hour. In the 2nd set she came back from a break down and closed things out on her first match point attempt.

Petkovic defeated American Grace Min in 3 sets to earn her spot in the finals.
