A winning ticket with a lifetime windfall was sold in Coffee County.

Aden's Mini Market #74, 405 Alabama St. N. in Broxton, sold a winning ticket worth $52,000 a year for life from the Georgia Lottery instant game $1,000 A Week For Life.

The winner, Tina Beck of Broxton, has selected the cash option, totaling $781,024 before taxes.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $15.5 billion to the state of Georgia for education.

All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K Program.

More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
