NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - The North Charleston Fire Department and Ashley River Fire Department are working to determine the cause of a house fire Saturday evening.
Crews responded to the fire on the 3200 block of Poindexter Road around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Firefighters found a significant amount of heat and smoke throughout the house, according to officials. There was a moderate amount of damage done by the blaze.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
A family of five has been displaced and is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
