SCE&G: Power restored in Colleton Co.

COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

SCE&G crews were busy Tuesday morning, restoring power to over 9,000 residents in Colleton County.

Officials say 12 incidents involving weather resulted in 9,026 outages throughout Colleton County, with the majority of outages affecting Walterboro. Power has since been completely restored, according to the SCE&G outage map.

    Charleston police are asking for the public's help to find a missing teenager.  Keyonna Latriece Felder, 16, was last seen at 1385 Ashley River Road in Apartment C on Sept. 17 at 1 p.m. She was last seen by her mother on Sept. 11.

    The Army Corps of Engineers has given the go-ahead for the planned expansion of Joe Riley Waterfront Park. DHEC and the Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management had already issued the state permits in May.
