North Charleston police looking for suspect who robbed University Blvd. CVS

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect who robbed a pharmacy Friday night.

Shortly before 9 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at the CVS on University Boulevard.

According to the clerk, the suspect came running into the business, brandishing an item that seemed to be a gun and demanding money.

The clerk opened her register and the suspect took an unknown amount of money.

The suspect then fled out of the business on foot.

Police describe the suspect as a male, 20 to 30 years old, 5'6", wearing old blue jeans that had holes around the knees and appeared to be frayed at the bottom of the legs.

Authorities say the suspect was also wearing brown shoes or boots, a black long sleeve shirt, black ball cap and a black item over his face.
