UNION COUNTY, SC (WYFF) - An Upstate man said two of his dogs were killed after being shot with arrows, according to an incident report from the Union County Sheriff's Office.
The man called authorities on Saturday and said between Friday at 3 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m. someone shot his two Great Danes with arrows while the dogs were inside a fence on Old Buncombe Road.
The responding officer said he saw one dog lying near the back corner of the property with an arrow still sticking out of it and the other dog under a wooden shed with an arrow wound to his neck.
The officer said he was unable to find a second arrow.
