SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Summerville Police are on the lookout for a man who they say robbed a North Main Street bank at gunpoint Wednesday morning.
Officials say South State Bank, located at 402 North Main Street, was robbed by a man in a dark suit around 10:15 a.m.
According to police, the suspect pointed a handgun at the teller while demanding cash. He then fled the bank in an unknown direction.
Police describe the suspect as a while male, approximately 5'6" to 5'9", and between the ages of 50 and 60 years old. He was wearing a dark color suit and a hat.
