CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police arrested a second suspect in an Aug. 3 armed robbery on Wentworth Street on Wednesday, according to police spokesman Charles Francis.

Rockene Lamont Ladson, 27, is charged with two counts of armed robbery and was being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center.

Isaac Nathaniel Toomer, Jr., 27, was arrested on Aug. 5 and also charged with two counts of armed robbery, police say.

Two victims told police they were walking to a home on Wentworth Street at about 2 a.m. when they were approached by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun. The robbers took the victims' wallets and a cell phone, police say.
