All lanes reopened on Don Holt bridge following accident

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Traffic in all lanes is moving again on the Don Holt Bridge on I-526 after a backup caused by a multiple-vehicle collision.

Mount Pleasant police reported traffic was backed up shortly before 4 p.m. via a post to Twitter. SCDOT cameras showed at least one lane in the eastbound and one lane in the westbound was closed by the collision on the westbound side and by first responders on the eastbound side.

At 4:30 p.m., cars were moving at an average speed of 10 mph in the westbound side and about 20 mph on the eastbound side, according to Live 5 News Traffic Tracker.
