CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Investigators arrested a man accused of stabbing a 46-year-old man in downtown Charleston.
The Charleston Police Department charged 51-year-old Timothy Lee Tomlin with attempted murder.
On Saturday afternoon, police responded to the Bilo on 445 Meeting Street for a report of a possible stabbing victim.
Authorities arrived at the scene and saw the 46-year-old victim lying on his back next to a pillar in front of the grocery store with a small crowd tending to him.
The victim told police that he was stabbed on Nassau Street. According to the victim, after he was stabbed, he rode to the Bilo.
The victim was transported to MUSC.
