BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - An auction to part with over $8 million dollars worth of American LaFrance inventory is set for later this month.
A global webcast auction for parts and equipment from the former Berkeley County facility will take place Wednesday, August 27 at 9 a.m. at Wingate by Wyndham on University Blvd. in North Charleston.
A manufacturing company of fire and rescue vehicles, American LaFrance closed its Moncks Corner facility in January 2014.

The auction will feature over 1000 lots consisting of new Cummins engines, American LaFrance Eagle custom chassis, fire pumps, rims and tires, cabs, and much more.
Items available in the auction are located at 164 Spring Grove Drive in Moncks Corner. They can be viewed and inspected August 25-26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
