BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Berkeley County deputies are investigating after a man says he was carjacked at gunpoint while in Summerville Wednesday night.
According to an incident report, the carjacking occurred at 1905 Southside Street around 8:45 p.m.
The victim told deputies he was parked in front of the residence when a white Cadillac with two occupants pulled up next to him. The driver of the Cadillac approached the victim's 1996 Honda Prelude, pointed a gun at his chest, and told him to get out the vehicle.
The report states the suspect then got in the Prelude and drove away, while a passenger in the suspect's vehicle got into the driver's seat and left the scene in the Cadillac.
The license tag on the black Honda Prelude is JZI 227.
