Tyler police release photos of bank robbers

Police released surveillance photos of the three men who robbed a Tyler bank on Tuesday.

A $25,000 dollar reward has been offered for the identity, arrest and conviction of the suspects responsible for the Austin Bank robbery at Shaw and Loop 323.

This reward for information has been limited to a three week time period that will expire on Friday, September 5.

Anyone with information about the bandits should call Tyler police or the FBI.

Police say three black males, wearing torn T-shirts that covered their faces, entered the bank with guns, then left the scene in a gold Mercury Grand Marquis.

The vehicle used in the robbery was abandoned, and located by authorities on the 900 block of Britton Street. Tyler police say they believe the suspects got into two other vehicles - a red Dodge Stratus and a dark gray Nissan Altima. All three suspects were believed to be armed.
