BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office have arrested five men in connection with a Chinese restaurant armed robbery.

The sheriff's office arrested 18-year-old Ronald Moore, 21-year-old Malcolm Moore, 17-year-old Malcolm Driessen, 22-year-old Daniel Edwards and 18-year-old Kieon Marshall on Thursday after deputies executed two search warrants in which nearly a dozen guns, and drugs were found in one of the homes.

Just after 5 p.m., investigators searched a home on Woodbine Lane and Lemoyne Drive in connection with last weekend's armed robbery at the House of Tang restaurant.

According to investigators, Ronald Moore and Malcolm Driessen were found at the home on Woodbine Lane. Deputies say Driessen was found to be in possession of a cell phone which was identified as the one stolen during the House of Tang robbery.

Driessen was arrested on one count of receiving stolen goods.

The sheriff's office says it was also discovered that Moore was in violation of a trespass notice and was arrested for trespassing after notice.

Authorities executed a second search warrant at a home on Lemoyne Drive where Malcolm Moore, Edwards and Marshall were located.

A report states that the search of the home yielded the recovery of ten firearms, two of which had been previously reported stolen out of Beaufort County.

Also discovered and seized was 3.5 oz of marijuana. All three men at the home were charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Moore was additionally charged with two counts of possession of stolen firearms and possession of a schedule V controlled substance.

The sheriff's office says additional charges may be pending as the armed robbery investigation continues. Investigators say they are also working to determine if any of the other recovered firearms may have been illegally obtained.
